My something new to do is my new website . I'm putting together a Wix web site titled "Coconart Studio & Gallery" . l'll be displaying all of my offline and online works . New works will include experimental artworks , sculpture, jewelry , boxes , photography and all my other endeavors . Look for it soon.

WHAT AM i UP TO NOW?

I'm in the Studio (remember , It's in the corner of my bedroom?) being creative ........... Lots of new stuff coming ...... working on some backgrounds for Highest Of Praise , a new site from WIX for kids ,  refreshing this blog , My own site for my artwork and the list goes on .I'm really enjoying it all . All to the Glory of God 

So stay tuned I'll be back with more of my creations as I blog my life journey .

Using a blurred background image,

on the windows paint application,

I chose shadowed sections of the image and mostly copied and pasted into the particular area manipulating the words to fit the sections.

Spirit And Truth
I did this while planning for my next handmade paper project. I have to keep creating .


This is a manipulated image from my original digital photo titled "Spirit And Truth". This is what God desires and seeks after those who will worship Him in Spirit and truth. In Spirit because He is spirit and truth because His word is truth. There is no Lie in Him .


I used several sources, Photo Shop Express and Snagit image processing to achieve the effects and deep rich colors in this image. The original was a photo of my work table top - some paint and scratches seemed like a beautiful abstract image to work with . with P.E. I exaggerated the scratches and deepened the color with the exposure tool. Extra scratches were made capturing and dragging parts of the image to other areas using the touch up tool . I used the Sketch tool which gave it the drawn or painted appearance . With Snag It; Resizing , frame and Signature were added

Re-Thinking my Art work Again

I've come to a place where I am rethinking my artwork and reassessing my subject matter . The past few days I have revisited my older artwork and have been inspired to make my own papers again. I took a good look at my older works that were made from paper mache` and remembered how much fun I had creating it .

Looking over the internet for new techniques not much has changed over the years but I came across some very talented "handmade paper" artist .

So I am inspired to revisit this art form again . My subject matter , this time , I will be more spiritual in nature . While keeping my eclectic texture and mix-media influence .

I'm off to explore this wonderful medium to see what I can come up with . As soon as I'm happy I be posting again .
